About our spa

Founded in 1998 by Nick and Sue Pierce, The Chiswick Health & Wellness Spa (formerly The Jurlique Day Spa)  is situated in the heart of Chiswick. Equally enjoyed by men and women, our wonderful Jurlique treatments concentrate on detoxifying, re-balancing and hydrating the skin. This is achieved by utilising the natural, healing properties of the certified organic and biodynamic ingredients grown on the Jurlique Herb Farm located in South Australia and present in Jurlique products.

Our warm, caring, professional therapists are not only fully qualified, fully insured and local authority licensed but are also Jurlique trained and in keeping with our holistic approach, often have qualifications in a variety of different therapies such as reflexology, massage, aromatherapy etc.

At The Chiswick Health & Wellness Spa, we have six private air conditioned treatment rooms, our new specialised beauty treatment room, a comfortable relaxation lounge where we serve refreshments at no charge. Incidentally, all water used throughout our Spa is specially filtered to remove chemicals, bacteria and hardening minerals, leaving it feeling oxygenated and alive. Finally we have a retail display area which has available the full range of Jurlique skincare products along with a number of other retail brands. In addition to our extensive range of wonderful facials, massages, body treatments etc. etc. we also offer a number of specialised complementary therapies, such as Osteopathy, Acupuncture, Naturopathy and Reiki, all of which are provided by fully qualified and fully insured Independent Practitioners.

The Jurlique History

It began with a dream. The pioneering company was founded in 1985 by Dr. Jurgen Klein and his wife, Ulrike – scientists in chemistry, herbology, homeopathy and alchemy. They sought the purest place on Earth and discovered an ideally suited, unpolluted environment in South Australia where they would farm their own herbs and flowers for Jurlique skin care.
